I'm already feeling the effects of no sleep. I didn't even get out of bed until 1 p.m. yesterday, so right about now it's been the equivalent of a really long day. So far, I cleaned the toilet around 5, cut up contact paper to cover student dictionaries, took a shower, went to Starbucks and read from about 530-7, and only left because I was freezing sitting in there. I ate an entire apple fritter. o_O It's still raining on and off, and really humid out so the AC feels colder. Giant puddles everywhere; oh how I love living in the desert!

Book recommendation: Les Miserables. I'm sure I'll finish it today, it's that good. Well, that and it lets me procrastinate the mess I need to clean up.

Argh, the grammar nazi in me is flaring up again. For example, typing a.m. instead of just am after the time, or putting html tags to italicize book titles. Why do I care?

I feel like icon hunting.

Today may also be full of random posts, just to warn you.

Mr. Darcy, he is so cute!

Les Miserables is one of my all time favorite books. I've read it many times which may seem crazy to people considering how long it is but I love it so much.

I accidently bought the abridged version, but apparently they just left out the really long political rants that detracted from the plot.

Definitely detracts from the plot. I tend to skip those parts.

Finished it. I was almost in tears at the end!

Mr. Darcy, he is so cute!

That made me laugh :P
Sounds like a cheerleader cheer!
Gimmie a D! A! R! C! Y! What does it spell? Darcy! ♥

That last line was inspired after seeing the mood theme picture. It's funny that you used a JE icon, because after I said it about Darcy, I kind of felt bad for leaving Edward out!

Oh, and about italicizing titles, I know it's not right, but I do it all the time. I have never liked underlining things on the computer or paper. I just hate the way it looks. Then it makes me wonder why they couldn't have made the rule something else lol. I'm always wondering how these grammar rules come about. I know we need them, but it's just weird.

Excuse the ramblings! lol

It's not that I care about italicizing vs. underlining, it's that I take the trouble to go back and add the tags at all. As far as I know, both underlining and italics are acceptable. I somewhat dislike using the rich-text on entries; it tends to act up and when I read email notifications, there's all this weird coding. If I have to do a lot of html, I'l copy/paste the <></>s.

Your icon reminds me of when Rochester first appears, and now I must find a cap of him wearing his hat...

Yeah, rich text is a pain. I never use it.

I started looking for a picture of Rochester in his hat and came across these bookmarked entries. You might have seen them, but just in case:

-Hires press photos
-Pic spam with quotes Pt. 1
-Part 2
-Part 3
-another good spam

Still no hat pic though. I know I used to have it saved, and it's bugging me that I can't find it! :/
But now I am certain of two things: I need to draw Rochester and I need to watch JE tonight! lol

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPICSPAMYAY!!!!!!!
"Jane saves Rochester from a fiery death. In return, Rochester flashes his bare chest and invades her personal space like woah." and "WORST WEDDING EVER" totally made me laugh.

Dude, if I ever want icons, I have now tons of caps to look through. I d/l caps of episode 3 but forgot where I got them, someones resource list or cap_it maybe. JE picspam is ALWAYS good.

Therefore, I bring you this:

and, I hate to but have to say it: MM looks a bit like Paul Reuben here:
hahaha

I LOVE that MM is not classically HOT IMO, but that role just makes him luscious. :D

Guh, proposal scene almost kiss!

MM looks very different in real life. I haven't seen him in anything else.

Yeah...he's so...average looking! Gives me hope, personally, for my "Mr Right" that is somewhere out there (cue the American Tail song) wondering where I am. :D

MM has "it", whatever "it" is, and makes Mr Darcy smokin' hot! He's not as hot as whatshisname in "Becoming Jane" (oh my GUHness to his innuendo-laden glances), but he is yummy!

Dude, James McAvoy was SO FREAKING ADORABLE in Becoming Jane!

I think MM's scruffy hair in P&P is, at least part of, what makes him so great as Darcy.

And now, the American Tail song is in my head!

"Adorable" isn't the word I'd choose, lol.

The sultry way he read the passage from the book to her - oh MY! Gave ME goosebumps. I want a man IRL who can say something and give me goosebumps like that, and the look in his EYE....*fanning self* That man made me all hot & bothered in that role. *fanning self some more*

Oh yeah, I forgot the sultry part because the rest of it he has that adorkable grin on his face. I must say, however, that I like James McAvoy in more goofy roles like Mr. Tumnus or in Becoming Jane. He wasn't bad in Atonement. There was a preview reel at Borders the other day for the movie Wanted, which I have NO desire to see.

*boggles* I didn't realize he was Mr. Tumnus! I actually had to think about who that was for a moment there, haha... wow! Crazy.

His sultryness caught my eye and wouldn't let go, though that silly grin was adorable. :D

I've seen nothing of Wanted. I'll have to read about it.

It's okay. I'm anal about proper LJ grammar as well. Well, except when I'm lolcatting.
