Jun. 11th, 2006 01:55 pmOne of the reasons I enjoy LJ is all the different user names. Some of them crack me up, some I wonder about, and some I'm so curious I have to read their user info.
Finally bought Phantom of the Opera and watched it. I hate to admit it, but I agree with some of the opinions on Emmy Rossum's acting. She often has a deer-in-headlights expression, and needs to close her mouth! I kept thinking, yikes, mouthbreather!
I'm supposed to be cleaning up my apartment, but I decided I should buy my plane ticket to CA before rates go up. I also have to figure out how I am going to insure my new car and get it registered, and all that jazz. My mom doesn't have the title yet, but she thinks she'll get it by the time I get there, which is in 2 weeks. However, I've dealt with transfering titles before, and it's a pain. Just to get my current car from my mom to my name, no sale involved, took 3 trips to DMV because I didn't have the right form or my mom had not signed something. Ok, my mom lived 2 hours away then, so it wasn't like I could just take her to DMV with me. Now she's in another state, and owned by a non-relative. Getting it registered should be REAL fun! That and I need to sell my old car so I can insure the new one.
I got paid for the remainder of my contract on Friday, so I have to budget carefully the next month and a half. Can't go crazy on vacation in CA.
I desperately want a particular person to come visit me, as there are some things I need to know. I won't know unless the person is here. Hooray for being vague!
