I love swimming

I love swimming very much. I love swimming even when it's 115 outside and the pool feels like bath water. I love having a tan instead of looking pale as death. I love swimming underwater back and forth across the pool.

I seriously need to go buy some popsicles.

Hey...me too. I know that we both live in the hot desert and so we swim in bath water. But it beats complaining about the excessive heat excessively!!

My CA friends still can't believe I live here. Still, there are days when the weather is almost exactly the same. Plus, as I keep saying, you get used to it.

I think that it takes 7 years to get used to it--but I am there. By "used to it" I mean that I only see 2 months as super hot--July and August--whereas my Norhtern kin think that it is hot here year round!! Know what I mean?

It IS hot there year-round! lol

Although it's been exceptionally hot here in NY for some reason this summer. It's been about 90 (or above) almost every day this summer. Normally we're in the 75-83 degree range so we've been sweatin like pigs. Granted, I know we have more humidity which makes it more miserable but I still can't fathom 115 degrees. I'm sure you do get used to it though.

And I like lukewarm pool water :-)

I have gotten savvy at adapting to it. I also think a room is cold when it is 75 degrees. I am used to room temperature being at least 80.

i'm all about some fudgesicles. i have a sore throat, so i don't really want anything fruity.
