Friday Five - weather

ringsandcoffee1. How much rain do you get as a yearly average?
9 inches. I live in a desert.
2. How much snow do you get as a yearly average?
Zero inches. Again, desert. We have gotten one freak snowfall that I remember. Melted upon hitting the ground but still.
3. Too much sun or not enough?
Over 300 days a year. Too much sun isn't the problem, but that it's so dang HOT.
4. When was the last time you looked for shapes in the clouds?
I don't look for shapes often, but shapes have caught my eye.
5. What was the worst weather event to hit your area in recent years?
Record high temps, record high number of days over 110 degrees. A year or 2 ago, there was a monsoon storm they thought could flood neighborhoods. It didn't, as far as I heard.

2. 10-12 inches a year
3. Too much sun X_X;

5. It was so hot and sweltering during the summer, I mostly stayed inside
