Friday Five: SPRING CLEANING

1. What's the most cluttered spot in your home?
My kitchen? I mean it's organized, but I feel like I have too much stuff, and I use most of it. The raised part of the counter, where I drop mail and other junk that needs to be organized, never seems to stay clear for long.
2. What's your method for decluttering?
I have a donation bag at all times. Clothes that don't fit? In the bag. Stuff I don't need/want/use/have duplicates of? In the bag. Feeling twitchy? Start getting rid of stuff.
3. What are your favorite cleaning products?
Mainly things that are somewhat natural and less toxic, and that smell good. Still, some good old chemical favorites do wonders. Tide detergent (though I like Persil now too), Windex, Soft Scrub with bleach.
4. What helps get you motivated to clean up?
Ha, not much. I keep decently clean in general, but I need to dust. I put it on my to-do list, then forgot about it. A week or so ago, I looked at the dust on my coffee table...and posted a photo of it on instagram. Still haven't dusted it. When I can hear grit on the kitchen floor, I'll get it with the stick vac (did that today).

4. What helps get you motivated to clean up? Not much, but if someone (i.e. a family member) is going to arrive the next day, I go into a cleaning frenzy.
