1) What is the first song you remember from your childhood?
There are 3. They certainly aren't the first songs I ever heard but they are as far back as I remember. We had rented an RV and were going camping...maybe in Yosemite but I'll never know for sure. Anyway, I remember hearing "Woman" by John Lennon, "How Deep is Your Love?" by the BeeGees, and "Woman in Love" by Barbara Streisand.
2) What is the first music you purchased with your own money?
Shoot. Thank goodness for the internet because I need to look up some release dates. Umm probably Debbie Gibson's Out of the Blue.
3) What's a piece of music that you know by heart?
A song or any piece of music? I know many songs by heart. I love when I realize I'm singing along with a song I've not heard in YEARS but still know all the words and nuances. It's usually in the car, my mind wandering or thinking about my to do list when I catch myself singing.
4) What's a song that makes you turn off the music right away?
American Pie. There was a long period of time where I'd angrily change the station if Green Day came on.
5) And why?
I have no idea when/why AP started to bother me. It tends to be an earworm. I am less annoyed with it now. As for Green Day, it seemed like they were on every station I listened to, and thus overplayed.
