Reach out to someone. Parent. Friend. Coworker. BFF who lives 800 miles away but still loves you like woah. Freaking suicide hotline (details below). People care about you, no matter what you think otherwise. People like your BFF who lives 800 miles away and was shaken at the thought she could have learned of your death after the fact.

Yeah, so she didn't do it, and is better now, but was having thoughts of doing it. So was another mutual friend. I did not know about it, but told her the thought of learning that she might have just...

I have lost a friend to suicide. He also did not tell anyone close to him the depth of his despair. Took us all by surprise. I still miss him.

I'm so sorry your friend was in such despair that she contemplated that or attempted that and am glad she's okay.

Hopefully she's on the road to recovery mentally and physically and now that you and others know, can help her along that road.

I can't imagine losing a loved one to suicide :-(

Thanks. My friend is encountering legal problems for something she didn't do. It was that stress that brought her down. But yes, I'm glad she has moved past that darkness.
