Enough already

I am posting from my phone because my computer is on the fritz again.
For this I have turned on predictive text, which only saves a little bit of time as you need to look and see if it predicts the word you want. Anyway. Since restoring the files from my old computer onto the new one, new lappy has not been happy. Programs run slowly and chrome can't load pages and/or times out. McAfee also keeps bugging me to renew. Grr.
I had another work nightmare last night. In it, I was back for staff preservice days. Like last year, it was Wednesday through Tuesday and then kids started the day after. For some reason I had to attend the first part, like it was the very end of my previous contract. My boss (the one who let me go) was pretending to be nice and humor me even though I wasn't supposed to be there. I just stumbled around unsure what to do since I had no class to prepare for. As far as I can remember no other staff I know was there, at least no one spoke to me. I knew I didn't belong and just wanted to leave. Finally it was Friday and we were having a pool party (?!) at which people were nicer to me but I still wanted out. My boss beat around the bush before finally saying I could go and did not have to come back on Monday.
Please work nightmares stop already.
I would be writing a cover letter right now but the computer won't let me. There is an office job posting I probably won't get but I am having a rare burst of confidence. Maybe my old laptop will cooperate.
A few days ago I bought a 2.5 gallon divided tank for my bettas. I went to Petsmart intending to get gallon bowls for them. Of course the employee told me I should go bigger. However, i do not have room for four individual tanks the size she suggested. Plus, considering the size containers I have housed bettas in for over a dozen years tells me the tank I chose would be okay. I got one to try out as it was $25 on sale. Emma and Ten went in and seem happy. So today I got another for Cap and Beatrice. Emma and Ten are older so I put them in first not even thinking it might not be healthy having a male and female in the same tank. The black divider keeps them apart and they don't seem to notice each other. However the male could release pheromones causing the female to become eggbound. So, Emma will go in with Beatrice once the new tank water acclimates.
