Not me, but livejournal. I refuse to see this place die. Thus, I will make more effort to post. Most of my online activity has been fangirling on tumblr. I don't have a personal connection with anyone over there yet, however. Well, except for the two lj friends also on tumblr. I can ramble or rant about anything on here, and know a few people are reading. sewcute and msantimacassar post regularly. A few more of you not as frequently, but you show up nevertheless.

I get an intern tomorrow. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. I hope I don't scare her away from the profession.

I'm glad to hear it! I don't know where I would go if LJ really died, there's no where else I can ramble on and have good conversations with people! If only the people would stick around...

True. Tumblr does have some interesting people, but it's harder to get to know people over there.

Yeah, and the letter limit on asks drives me nuts! There's no way to have good conversations on multiple subjects...

Me too! There are still some around (that's pretty much all that shows up on my friends page these days), but they take soooo long to post updates and then never seem to be in the fandoms I want icons of.

I still have your card up on my bulletin board. My friend saw it today, and when I said it was from my blog friend in Australia, she said I need to go visit you. :D I'm still working on getting a passport, and going to England...

I once viewed LJ as an old friend with whom I could "pick up where we left off" very easily. Then I saw some video on the Internet mocking it as a dead thing from another era, and felt bereft. Since then, I've felt embarrassed to bring it up to "newbies" ... but 10+ years of processing doesn't die easily, and I DO love it.

Just read your other new posts. Keep it up! There is a poetry to your words, even when you're just reciting how your week has gone. Also, I would love to join a book club! Jealous of your accomplishments--things like really enrich one's days. In a similar vein, I am sorry that you are losing your roommate :-(.

I know that you usually pop back up every few months, which is awesome. LJ is just...something some of us will never give up. I don't want to see that mocking video, might make me break something. Ha ha.
