I freaking hate being broke. HATE it. Yet I have not begun looking for additional income. Why, as my mom asked earlier? Because somehow I have a life now. Seriously, something going on at least a few nights a week and on the weekends. Yet, I'm going to start going into credit card debt soon, and that's just to cover my normal bills.

Just kind of want to scream.

Omg I know what you mean!! I would love a part time job (besides tutoring one night a week). But I haven't looked cause I'm so busy! But I hate being broke! (And we have two incomes!)

I remember this tension - when I was studying I had so much free time to hang out with people and have a life, but no money to actually spend when I went places. Then when I got a job, I had so much money but no time to spend it seeing people! It was short lived though - living expenses went up, my husband went back to full time study and now money is tight again!

And next year we are going to be actually bordering on broke (details to follow in an LJ post soon!). I can empathise heaps! But PLEASE don't go into credit card debt. It's almost impossible to get out of that cycle of debt- it would be the worst thing ever!

I know - I carried close to $4000 in CC debt for several years. Started out with poor spending habits, but most was due to fixing my car and then not being able to make more than the minimum payment. I will do all I can to not rack up debt again.
