British wannabes

The roommie and her friend who attended the same high school in England for a year threw a party today. It was a tea to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. We dressed up and/or wore hats, ate British foods, and played trivia games. One was British words and phrases, one about the Queen, and one about Kate Middleton. I accidentally got the same hat as the roommie. She showed me her hat, then a week or so later, I chose the same one from Target. Completely forgot what hers had looked like. Oh well. My food contribution was traditional scones and lemon curd. Both came out well, but the lemon curd was a hit. I'm glad, because it's a bit labor intensive.

She took all the pictures today; her or anyone using her camera. I can't wait to see them and post a few. :)

I really need some British-themed icons.
