ringsandcoffeeWe did the family dinner and presents thing yesterday. Today I saw Allison (and her family) and Erol for a while. Allison got me a Lord of the Rings Pez set. How I've never seen them before astounds me. They rock!
I'm also on my birthday present - a laptop! It's got Windows 7 which is making me a bit crazy, and the battery life is only about 4 hours. Hmm. Still, it's lightspeed compared to my desktop. I also got this cookbook, https://www.miette.com/book, which my sister found at Costco. It's fabulous, and I want to make half the recipes already.
I think I've also gotten a present I didn't want - the cold my brother and sister have. A headache is coming on, and so this entry will be cut short. Let's say, to be continued.
