free is fabulous

Allyson told me about www.noisetrade.com and I finally tried it last night. TONS of free music. Basically you go to the site, click on any of the albums, then listen to the song samples. If you want the album, just put in your email address and zip code. You get an email with a link to download the album. Boom, there you go! I must have looked at a few hundred artists in the list last night, and recognized a small handful. Most are new artists, I believe. I got a few I recognized - Plumb, Iron and Wine, and Josh Garrels. Iron and Wine is a full, live album. :D If I felt like it, I could listen to samples all day long.

So far I love Iron and Wine. I already liked Plumb. I'll listen to Josh Garrels after.

Yup. It's not file sharing. Artists choose to be on there. It's not ALL their songs, just what they choose to offer.
