I'm 2 steps closer to becoming British: pronouncing garage "gare-edge" and Ikea "ee-kay-uh."

Scorpionoia continues! Wait, I shouldn't sound excited about that. Sightings 3 and 4 have occured: Friday, when Amy killed the one that came crawling across the floor, and tonight, when one came out from under the garbage can in the garage.

Reading The Great Typo Hunt again, and over-analyzing grammar and punctuation. I catch myself proof-reading text all over the place, then wondering if I know what I'm talking about. For example, I ought to look up where the commas go in the above sentence. However, my favorite grammar reference book is in the garage (gare-ege), where the scorpions are.

My sister is taking me on vacation with her in a few weeks. We're going to Boston, then Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod. We haven't decided yet where to spend the last night. Susan suggested Newport, RI.

I'm finally getting bored not having a job. Hopefully the HR person gets back to me soon so I can start subbing. However, I'm not inspired and/or confident enough to finish my resume and letter of rec yet. I am inspired to look into food jobs. Cooking for friends and baking my first scratch chocolate cake recently reminded me how much I enjoy it. Cake: http://www.whisk-kid.com/2011/02/think-chocolate-cake-with-vanilla.html and frosting: http://tastykitchen.com/recipes/desserts/thate28099s-the-best-frosting-ie28099ve-ever-had/

Must find my html codes cheat sheet.
