Let's get the ugly part over with first: ACK I need to get my job application stuff done! Like letters of reference, cover letters, etc. Yuck. This one school said if I was hired they would need official transcripts...um, seriously? I have enough copies with the state already, and I HAVE my certificate. WHY must you make me order and pay for ones to be sent to you?

Ok, enough of that. Now, the interesting bits.

Yesterday morning I had a long, complicated dream with an ending I don't know what to think about. (yay ending sentences with prepositions and not fixing my grammar) I only remember the end of it, which consisted of the following. I was with a guy. It was a guy I know, but I have NO idea who it was. I never saw his face. We were apparently dating, however. He was about to leave, possibly waiting for a cab or a ride, when I put my arms around him from behind and joked that he shouldn't go. He would be gone for 2 years, and so busy with work that he wouldn't be able to visit for a full year. For some reason I got a vision of him working with computers. When I asked if I could go visit him, again my mind told me that he would be really busy and unable to spend much time with me, maybe an evening here and there. It was then that I felt my arms physically tighten around him (and we might have turned to face each other in a real embrace, not sure) and said, "Don't go." Then I told him to "not meet anyone awesome, or more awesome than me," thinking if he did, we would break up. I didn't want to break up, but I was resigned to the possibility. That's when I woke up.

Apparently I am a good person to confide in. I was talking to a friend, another teacher who's older than me. He called to tell me about a news article, and then started telling me things that, well, I was surprised he would share with me. I kind of give him a hard time, and often, but in a joking way. Still, he knows he can trust me to tell the truth, and to also keep his confidence.

Drove around east Mesa today. It's kind of charming. Somewhat lacking in McDonald's when I wanted it, but oh well. When I finally made it to McD's (can't grocery shop hungry now, can I?) I accidently skipped the first window. No one was standing there and I wasn't sure...oops. Never did that before. I was embarassed but one worker said it happens all the time.

LOL! Almost all our McDs have the 2-window system but they're about 50/50 on whether or not someone is actually at the 1st window so it's always super annoying to "drive around" and stop at the 1st window and wait to pay because no one is there - not knowing if they stepped away for a second or there was never anyone there to begin with. So annoying!
