I'm watching Our Mutual Friend again. Rather, listening now as I type.

Chores are highly overrated. Clean apartments, too.

No, really, is it Saturday yet?

(I actually got up and unloaded the dishwasher, washed some other dishes, cleaned the spilled rice in the pantry. Then I started watching tv again and forgot this post.)

Hmm, good thing I did those chores after all, and delayed hitting the shower, because the power went out a little after 9. The whole block from 60 to the intersection was out, both sides of the street. I went outside and chatted with neighbors who were also investigating. People are funny when things like this happen. Had I not been addicted to watching OMF, the lights may have gone off while I was in the shower. Yeah, not fun. Instead, I had candle light.

Saturday, I go see Luis again. Cannot wait.
