Have you seen "Torchwood" on BBC network? I've watched some stuff, fanvids and so on about it. Looks cool. The makers of Dr. Who had something to do with "Torchwood I think.
I want to buy them, because if they show them here, I am sure they will cut out the juicy parts. lol!
My husband used to watch Dr. Who as a kid. I am curious about it now too.
I think I saw about 2 monites of Torchwood once. Some chick was getting the crap beat out of her. My friend said the character deserved it, but I was like ack.
I don't have cable, so I miss a lot of good stuff. Heck I miss a lot of regular tv since I only watch a few shows.
I really have little idea what Dr. Who is about, aside from time travel in a blue tardis, but I see it so often in icon communities it got me interested.
I really don't know how you'd react to Who. (I do think you'd like Who more than Torchwood though.) The thing about Who is, there can be episodes that are really, REALLY excellent... but then the majority of the season is kind of crappy.
So you'll have a really cool episode about stone angel statues that move closer when you blink.... and then pig people taking over Parliament.
Maybe this summer when it's 98,000 degrees outside, I'll rent them, since spending the days inside is pretty much a guarantee.
Oh, and cracky is good. Speaking of cracky, I introduced some coworkers to Charlie the Unicorn. One later showed her husband. I'm making myself chuckle just thinking about it now.
