So after 3 summers of dripping, my air conditioner is finally, truly fixed. Last week they did something, and the drip had stopped. Two days later it got cooler and I didn't need to use the AC. Today an actual AC tech came to raise the drain line, which involved sawing a hole in the hall closet ceiling. I'm just chuckling because it's 77 degrees and I'm wearing a 3/4 sleeve sweater. The guy said it wouldn't drip anymore, so yay. I guess I'll find out next June.

It would start dripping mid-July, and they would come vacuum out the drip pan, then it would start again a few weeks later. It was an ongoing thing from July-Septemberish for the past 3 years. Pretty much it stopped when I stopped using the AC due to cooler fall temps. This summer it was a little better but finally they said it should be permanently fixed.
