Last night I finally started on my curriculum map, and I actually feel encouraged. I need to finish at least through the end of the quarter, or the end of the unit (only brought the unit 1 teacher edition home). Still behind on tons of other things, but it's ok.

Trying cold-brewed coffee. Toddy, if you call it that. Also bought what I thought I'd need for tzatziki, and according to the recipe I found, I have everything. I just need to strain my yogurt.

Hooray for productivity.

LOVE CBC. And though I'm partial due to past employment, I would say that you must try Seattle's Best's. Just order Iced Coffee, and be sure they serve it out of a pitcher from a fridge (sounds obvious, but hey)...

I am SO buying a toddy brewer with my first teacher paycheck.

I saw the toddy brewer at Borders, and myy friend that used to run a coffee shop had one similar. I've had the cold brew latte things from Borders cafe (which serves Seattle's best), and liked them. The first CBC method I ever heard of was from a friend who said to put 1 lb of coffee in a cheesecloth inside 32 oz of water and steep it overnight. The recipes I looked up today said 4:1 water to coffee ratio. As long as I have something strong to mix with milk in the morning, I think I'll be happy. Anything that's cheaper than my Starbucks iced latte habit will work.
