I survived week one. I'm tired, I have a million things to do, and I need coffee. Tonight is a pool party, so yay.

Teacher appreciation day at Staples is always the first Saturday morning of the school year. Not enough free stuff to get me out of bed this morning.

Now I get to head out into 100+ degrees (it was 102 last night when I got home at 10pm) heat and grocery shop.

I still can't believe you start this early...although you ended WAYYY before us!! Good luck with your kids this year - I am willing to try pen pals again if you want!!! HAHA!!

It's just fundamentally WRONG to start school in July! I'm glad you don't htink I'm a total slacker with that letter thing. I swear, it wasn't all me. I gave my kids time in class one day to write back, and not even half did. The few that did, well I did forget to send them. I'm still trying to get this year figured out, but I'd love to do letters again, even if it's just a one-time deal.

I agree - July is just wrong! Anyway, I kept telling my kids that the letters were in the mail - I blamed the post office!!! HAHA...

EW, GROSS is all I can say to your weather. BLEH. It's in the high 60s here in Vancouver right now. I actually wish it were high 70s, because my veggie garden NEEDS that heat!
