So I met the divorced with 2 kids guy tonight. We met for coffee, then went to play pool. I am terrible at pool. He taught me a bunch of things I had never been told before. It sort of felt like playing golf where you feel all contorted until you figure out what to do and how to position your hands, arms, legs, feet, back straight... I said I now realize how my students probably feel when they first learn long division - so many steps and things to remember. I made a few decent shots (and many bad ones), and had fun.

About him...very nice, felt very comfortable around him. I acted like my geeky self, we talked about geeky things like tv shows and movies. I tried to explain the finale of LOST to him. He said silences were not awkward, but comfortable. He had 2 rum and Cokes while playing pool. I'd have to say that was my only sort-of red flag. I am just not much of a drinker; he said after being in the military, you build up a tolerance. He has a 9 year old son and 7 yr old daughter, and I guess his ex-wife cheated on him, thus the divorce. Don't know any other details about that relationship. I am willing to see him again, so we shall see.
