Feb. 6th, 2009 08:33 pmEnlighten me please, someone, anyone. I can remember wetting my pants (pajamas, actually) one time at about 5 years old. I was brushing my teeth and thought I had to finish that before going to the bathroom. It was no big deal, but still pretty embarrassing to me, even at that young age. So, today when one of my students (4th grade) waited until she was in agony before asking to go to the bathroom comes back in with different pants on and a sad look on her face. I just stopped what I was doing, gave her a hug, and whispered encouragement into her ear. My question is this: is 10 years too old to be having to pee so bad you don't make it to the bathroom? I mean, she did wait a while, but I have several students who do the overly dramatic peepee dance on a regular basis. The above mentioned girl is one of them, though usually she can wait until we have a break or whatever. I tend to be of the mindset that if it didn't happen to me, I don't understand why some things happen the way they do.
I got another betta. I can't help myself, empty tanks are just sad! I found one the same color as Charlie was, but decided against an almost-identical fish. So, the new guy is pale blue. He needs a name, though I have s strong leaning toward either Thornton or Daniel.
I have a crapton of tasks I should be doing, and here I am.
