This is really sad

I could be sleeping, but instead I'm refreshing my flist over and over. Doing other tasks online as well, but they can wait.

Leaving California

I said goodbye to 2 friends today. Stayed at my mom's house last night and will again tonight. My dad is halfway to Arizona with all of my possessions in the UHaul. I am leaving at 5am to drive there, all alone. It's going to be HOT. I don' know if I'm going to get much sleep tonight.

Sheltri bought Return of the King on tape for me! I love her! I didn't want to be fussing with the radio, and I think all of my tapes are boring, so now I'll have something to listen to the entire trip. I chose ROTK because I still haven't finished reading TTT yet and didn't want to listen to the beginning of the book. Whee.

Ok, must go hang out with my mom for a while. I can't believe I'm leaving CA, where I've lived my whole life. Not the same city, but still.
