Dear Peter Jackson,
I just watched the preview for King Kong. Twice. How friggen awesome are you?!? The movie looks incredible, both visually and plot-wise. I love Jack Black, and his character totally reminds me of you while directing Lord of the Rings. Why must we wait until December to see this film?

PS I had no idea who you were when I saw you on Access Hollywood earlier. When they said the name of the movie, my jaw dropped and I ran for the remote to rewind (hooray for PVR!). However, you still could use a haircut, but that's just my opinion. If Fran likes you all scruffy, well, more power to you both.

PPS I still love Lord of the Rings very very much. :)

So, last Saturday, I told my sister she looks like a cave troll. I am not sure what's worse: that I said it, or that she really did remind me of one. It wasn't some random comment. She, my mom, and I were talking about who women in my family look like when they gain weight. My mom said we all start to look like a particular cousin, but I looked at my sister and suddenly thought *cave troll* It was mainly the absence of a well-defined neck.

My sister knows next to nothing about LOTR, so she wasn't offended. I wasn't saying it on a mean way, either. Actually, the whole incident amuses me.
