Mansfield Park

All I have time to say at the moment is I think this is my favorite so far, at least between it, Persuasion, and Northanger Abbey. More later :)

I need to read the book, or at least learn more about the characters. I'm still weirded out by the cousin thing.

I love Mansfield Park :D I've never read it either, but I saw the movie a few years ago. The cousin romance thing is still strange ... but once you take yourself out of our time period and place it within the setting of the story, it becomes a bit easier to accept. At least it was for me :)

Sure, there were fewer people back then, but dude, how many of them were related with all this cousin marriage?!? Also, why was Fanny ever a popular name? Hmm.

So, specific thoughts on Jane Eyre? Ever going to watch the movie?

Yeah, I liked it more than Persuasion, but less than Northanger Abbey.

The cousin thing is weird for me too, but I just ignore it. They aren't cousins in my eyes! lol

Yeah, I thought maybe distant or something, but she did call them Aunt and Uncle.
