1. I vacuumed! I still need to do my bedroom, but the chore's half done!

I forgot #2.

Oh yeah!

2. I overcame temptation and didn't watch P&P today. There was only a short time tonight where I was really close to putting it in, but I didn't.

On the down side, as soon as I started looking at school stuff, my friend IMed me and so that was over. I'll have lots to do starting tomorrow.

I've been wanting to comment on your new found obsession for a while now, but every free minute I get when I'm here just seems to be snapped up instantaneously!

How awesome is it that you discovered Pride and Prejudice!! I don't know why it never dawned on me that it's SO YOU ^_^ I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH!!!

It was required reading for my AP British Lit class in high school. All the girls fell so much in love with it that our teacher let us watch the entire BBC adaptation in class (ok, she was also in love with Colin Firth). My friend Sarah (who I met in that class and partially because of our mutual love for the book) ended up buying the series on VHS and we watched it so many times. Well coincidentally, my sister bought me this for Christmas! For the past couple of days, my mom, my sister and I have been enjoying it.

To be honest, when I heard that there would be a new one coming out with Keira Knightley as Elizabeth, I was kind of upset. I thought she was a bad choice for the character at the time (not to mention, far too beautiful). But I finally saw it this past year, and actually really liked it. I still prefer the BBC version, but both of them were beautifully done.

You MUST see the BBC one! But do school stuff, too ; D

I'm super excited that you're into P&P!!

I'm super excited that you're super excited about me being super excited about P&P!!! I NEED MORE FANDOM FRIENDS!!!

It never dawned on me to read it, and I honetly can't even recall it being in the theaters. Then again, I don't really pay attention to what movies are playing. I will see the BBC version, when I can find it for cheap. I've only seen it for $40 at Borders. I also saw the special edition at B&N for like way more, so I didn't buy it. I bought the '05 movie soundtrack today, I had a coupon, but it's actually a really short cd so I think I was kind of silly to get it.

Ok, so I lasted one day. I sort of fast-forwarded through the movie this morning, and then I started watching it again this evening. I keep pausing it though, talking to people and such. I think this is the 11th time watching it. After today, I really won't have time to watch anymore, how sad!

Did you see my wallpaper? :D

ironically enough, I bought my two copies of P&P (both '95 and '05 versions) for a grand total of $40... AU. Which in conversion is probably something more like US$20. I can't understand why you guys have such expensive DVDS?

It just depends where you go and if it's special edition or whatever. The 1995 version I saw was some big collectors thing, and at that bookstore it's always more expensive. At another store the regular box set is $40, but they have good coupons every so often like the 40% off one that expired before I knew I wanted the movie! However, it was at that very bookstore that I got the 2005 version for $8, which is great. Amazon is cheapest, but sometimes shipping gets you.
