Procrastination entry

I'm not stressed on a Sunday, for once. Yay! I still have to do my lesson plans for the week, but I have a general idea of what's going on, so I'm not too worried about that.

I've been listening to the Christian rock/alternative station on AOL radio all day. It's the same type of music that I listen to on Air 1, but as far as I can tell, no repeats. It cracks me up that AOL lists "Emo" as a related station. I guess some of the artists are also played on mainstream stations, like the one I suddenly can't think of the name of. D'oh.

I cooked today! Baked chicken and rice, and it was yummy. I should make that more often, and it's really good when I add broccoli. I would have added more if I didn't think the broccoli I had was freezer-burned. I need to find some simple recipes that use beef, and not just ground beef. I make fajitas and stir fry once in a while, but those are slightly more labor intensive than I like on a busy night.

Two of my perpetually single friends have recently been dating. There's hope for me!! I just need someone in this freaking city to fall head over heels for me. Ha ha ha, I kill me. I'd settle for a date once in a while though, or some reason to get dressed up. I would LOVE to have a boyfriend that would take me somewhere really nice, so I could wear my LITTLE BLACK DRESS. Yes, I'm excited to finally have the proverbial necessity in every woman's wardrobe. I just need some accessories for it, otherwise I look a little plain.

Sometime today, I'm going to finish my work.

yay for a gd sunday and for cooking or is baked chix and rice technically baking? hmm. anyhow, glad to hear you're procrastinating. haha. And bout the boyfriend bit... us single people need somebody to love eventually but it never seems easy does it? *sigh* btw, you wanted my address right? do u want me 2 email it? or should i just post it here? Hee hee I got the gist of it. I read the writing of 8th graders, most of whom are second-language learners. I understand a lot of things :)

I'm also not a morning person. I do not function well pre-coffee.

haha. well in my defense english really is my 2nd language. my first is malay. and yes i need coffee too but maybe later now i'm off to sleep again. and you no starbucks trips anymore. hehe.
