iTunes question

Do I have to set up an iTunes store account, with my credit card information, or can I just buy iTunes cards at the store? I know it would be easier to have the account, but also, I think all my spare money would start going to buy music. I'd rather just buy the cards, I think.

I've yet to use the website to buy music, but I can't see why you can't just by the cards. It would just be like someone bought them for you as a gift.

if you buy the cards, you still have to set up an account. then you enter the code on your card and it credits your account.
