Dancing with the angels

A memeber of the 20s30s group was killed in a car accident last night.  Jen and Henry came to tell the Tuesday night group about what happened to Matthew.  My first thought, shock.  My second thought, I know he's with Jesus now.  You could just tell from the way he lived his life, and in the midst of the sadness, that was a glimmer of joy to hold onto. 

I didn't know Matthew well, but what I did know, and by the reactions of many, he was loved, and will be greatly missed.  I feel for his friends, I am sad for them, I am sad for Rin, his fiance.  They are all in my prayers during th is really rough time.  It's all I know how to do.  Nobody really close to me has died, so I can't totally empathize.  But...I keep thinking, Matthew is happy now, happier than he was while he was with us, and that's pretty happy  :)
