Your answer to #2 is AMAZING hahahaha. As soon as I read the question, I knew the answer would be "yes," but your answer tops it.
1. Have you ever experienced a hurricane firsthand? Not full blown, no. Here in NY we usually get the remnants a few days/a week later - usually just a lot of rain.
2. Have you ever experienced outside heat over 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celcius)? Yes, it does get this hot here in NY occasionally. ACTUALLY over 100 is pretty rare, but we had about 5-6 days this summer. Heat index of 100+ is pretty common thanks to humidity.
3. When and where was the coldest temperature you have ever experienced? Every. Single. Winter. The worst one lately was 3 years ago in February (I only remember because we went to CA that month). For a large chunk of the month, it was in the single digits or negative numbers and the wind chill was -20 to -30.
4. Is your household prepared for a possible power outage of two to seven days? Yes! A generator was one of the first purchases we made when we bought our house. Got to really test it out last year with the wind storm that knocked out power for 3-4 days.
5. Do you have a go bag? We have important documents in a centralized, safe location but otherwise..nope.
