2) After two years in Bahrain, I could answer "yes" to the question of "Have you experienced a sustained period of 100 degree + weather exceeding more than 100 hours?"
3) Hrm. Junior year of college we had a power outage when it was 20F. In childhood we had nights that went below zero.
4) With supplies? Yes. Psychologically? Some of us would make it. Not Jason. Toss up as to whether the kids could stay entertained. (We had a 56-hour outage in March. It was interesting to see how the different people in my house handled it.)
5) Currently no. They advised us to keep one in Bahrain, and I did but it was pointless, honestly. Otherwise, only when I was 37+ weeks pregnant.
