For the record - From the Merrium/Webster online dictionary - Anal or anal-retentive - giving too much attention to details in a way that annoys other people.
1. What are you anal about?
Apostrophes. Misplaced apostrophes drive me insane! I am a bit anal about grammar in general. I'm too nice to correct people though.
Another thing is dirty feet on my bed. No, just no.
2. Why that and not something else?
I was a teacher. Also, the general apostrophe rules are really not that hard to grasp. They either show possession or contractions. When someone writes about how their dog's like to eat bones and toy's, or signs a letter with the Smith's, I want to scream.
3. Are you more or less anal than you were as a young person?
Probably more.
4. When you are suddenly confronted by a situation over which you have no control, what do you do first?
Wow, interesting question. Grumble about it, and then have an internal conversation to calm myself down.
5. Do you wish you could be more or less attentive these days?
I need to be more attentive to things that aren't online, and less attentive to my computer.
