Probably every book I read, I want everyone else to read it too. Some more than others. I have a post I've kept since 2007 that lists what I've read since 2006. It started with dates read and/or my opinion on the books, but has evolved into a list, separated by year. I started editing the earlier sections a few nights ago. If I were really into book ratings, I'd go back and rate all the books I've read, but, meh. List is here for anyone interested: https://ringsandcoffee.livejournal.com/139540.html

I read mostly memoirs, then non-fiction, then some fiction sprinkled in. Why do I like memoirs (and the occasional biography) so much? Sometimes I choose if for the person it's about, but often I've never heard of them before finding the book. Also, and this goes for non-fiction books as well, they often have social commentary or info about the world around them. I like learning how things were for other people who lived in different eras or places. I used to read more fiction, as evidenced by the BritLit I used to be obsessed with. Again, see books post.

Anywhoozles. Recommendations. These are my highly recommended books from the last few years. I'll try to keep this list from getting too long, but no guarantees.
