Friday Five - travel

1. Where did you travel on your last vacation or other big trip?
Italy in June of last year. The pictures just came up on FB, sigh.

2. What was the best trip you ever took? Where did you go, and with whom, and what made it so good?
Great Britain in June 2015 with Natalie. London, Bath, Cardiff, Haworth, York, Lake District, Edinburgh, Cambridge, popped over to Paris, and back to London. We took the train all over, stayed in Air BnBs and met some great people, I got to see the Bronte parsonage, discovered Costa coffee, saw how insane the driving is in Paris, and just loved it. It was also my first trip outside North America.

3. Where do you dream of traveling on your next vacation when it's safe to travel again?
If a short trip, Disneyland. If a longer trip to a new country, Germany, maybe with one of those stopovers in Iceland. If to a place I've been before, back to GB.

4. Where are you likely to actually travel to on your next vacation when it's safe?
Northern California to see family and friends

5. Do you prefer to vacation to new places each time or to familiar places -- or maybe you prefer to stay home?
I like both new and familiar places.
