1. What book frightened you as a young person?
I don't remember anything that frightened me, but there was a part of Jurassic Park that made me put the book down for the night after reading it. (Nedry vs the velociraptor)
2. If you had to become a ‘living book (i.e. able to recite the contents of a book cover to cover upon request – reference Fahrenheit 451), what book would it be?
Shoot, I don't know any that well. I suppose I could give a decent retelling of Jane Eyre.
3. What movie or TV show scared you as a kid?
V. I don't know if it was the miniseries or the show but it scared me when they aliens peeled off their human skins. As for movies, one of the Poltergeist films I happened to see a scene from messed me up (more below).
4. What movie (scary or otherwise) will you never ever watch?
No horror or gory movies. Also, I've no desire to ever watch The Godfather.
5. Do you have any phobias?
Emetophobia - fear of vomit. I can't stand to see or hear others do it, but I'm not afraid when I happen to be sick. The scene in Poltergeist where the dad(?) drinks the worm in the tequila and then it comes back up is what I think sparked my phobia. I'm also a bit scared of spiders, and I dislike bugs in general. Oh yeah, and I'm afraid of heights.
