School's out for summer
May. 26th, 2013 08:57 pmI don't quite know what to do with myself now that I have extra free time. Well, I went to see Iron Man 3 yesterday. Still good, though getting more senselessly violent. I had to turn my head a few times.
About 3 minutes just went by because I felt the need to pluck a hair from under my chin. I totally forgot that I was in the middle of writing a post, even though the laptop was right in front of me the entire time. Hmm, feeling a little ADD right now. Those hairs under my chin, and I'd say there's about 10 of them, drive me crazy. They are coarse and grow at different times. Well, I have to pluck a one at least every couple of days. Worst is when I can feel them but they aren't long enough to grab with the tweezers. I know I'm not the only female in the world who has this problem, but it still makes me self-conscious at times. Like, if a guy were ever to run his hand under my chin...hmm something is going to poke him! Sigh.
Listening to Absolute Radio. The ads for fire safety are pretty morbid, but I guess house fires are such a big problem in the London area that they have to have such ads.
Today was 91 degrees and overcast, so I was able to go for a walk. Probably will be back to swimming laps again this week. I like working out...still find that weird.
3 days of substitute teaching this coming week, potentially 4 if someone calls in sick on Tuesday. Hooray for summer income! Just got a call for next week, so that's 2 days so far. I need all the work these 2 weeks that I can get.
