emo all over again
Apr. 29th, 2011 11:36 pmOver a movie this time. I finally watched all 4 hours of Tess of the D'Urbervilles which I read in 3 days over Christmas break. Listened to, then read online, because the audiobook was too slow. Bought the dvd before even finishing the book. Well...the ending was unexpected. I was all emo when I finished it, which was Christmas eve or day. Will have to look that up later. ANYway, I watched the BBC miniseries tonight. Very faithful to the book - fantastic. Ending also being faithful to the book = me all emo again. However, I'm talking to my friend Chron about it on instant messenger. Chron is a guy, by the way, and HE HAS SEEN MOST OF THE BBC MINISERIES. When it aired. Because he is awesome like that. Said he just missed the beginning. So lucky for me, I was able to come be all emo to him and now I feel better. Not so happy I paid $35 for the dvd but oh well. There's a small chance I may rewatch it someday, or loan it to someone.
This, my friends, is why I have to stick with the stories I love. Well, ok, I loved this book, but EEK!
Ha ha there's no emo mood choice. Darcy is kind of emo, I'll just use a mood with his picture.
