A rundown of my evening
Aug. 2nd, 2010 07:09 pmAfter work: getting stuff done (the fun list items before the more necessary, of course) --> talking to Susan --> did more work --> feeling of want to leave NOW hits --> say goodbye to Jill and Anita --> leave at 4:20.
Craving: Starbucks --> toffee almond bar (sniff, they haven't existed in over a year) --> coffee ice cream shake --> McDonald's chocolate shake --> McD's for dinner --> long line at McD's, over to Carl's Jr --> banana chocolate chip shake maybe? --> Western combo --> maybe food was what I wanted --> cookies again --> fries --> eat fries --> nope, want cookies still.
Decision time: 6 p.m. --> cookies, yes or no? --> YES --> walk to fridge, only 1 stick of butter --> sadness ensues --> post sad situation on FB --> realize, half batch, duh! --> 2 people comment suggesting half batch --> make an 8x8 pan cookie instead of small ones --> eat a generous dollop of cookie dough --> bliss --> cookie done, cooling in pan.
ETA: Checked 15 minutes later --> cookies were way undercooked --> popped back in oven --> still seem soft, take out anyway --> taste some --> taste yum!
