(no subject)

AC got fixed on Tuesday. Joy of joys, you don't even understand. Ok, maybe you do if you live in a place without air conditioning. So happy to be able to be home!

Hung out with Jen and her kids the better part of the last 4 days. Today was sort of random day trip day. We decided Tuesday to go, and picked Sedona. Jen picked Slide Rock as well. So we drove up, got lunch in town (Black Cow Cafe), spent about 4 hours at Slide Rock, went back to Black Cow for ice cream, then came home. I love Slide Rock! At first we were in the shallow areas, but then went upstream where there was a deeper pool. Even though it was slightly cold and clouds kept covering the sun, I didn't want to get out of the water. We went down the big natural slide a few times but hung out in the water otherwise. Jen took most of the pictures with her camera, so I haven't seen them yet. Many a comment was made about whether they would or should go on Facebook. Maybe a few select ones will.

I really don't want to go back to work next week.

(no subject)

This is like a cruel, cruel joke...the temperature is going up again. The thermostat says it's 80 in here even though it's set to 75. I'm keeping an eye on my magnet and cooking thermometers on my desk as well as the thermostat, to see if the temp climbs. I'll be going to the office as soon as I make myself presentable (brush my teeth and stuff).
