What I Did Over Spring Break
Mar. 28th, 2009 08:20 pmHmm, that sounds like the title of an essay I'd assign to my students.
Week 1
Saturday - Ostrich Festival and then movies with Jayme.
Tuesday - movies with Michelle and Reena
Wednesday - went into my classroom but didn't move desks as I'd hoped to do. After that was curriculum mapping at the D.O.
Thursday - the mall
Friday - subbed at intersession, went to lunch with some coworkers, and then to Ikea. Got an email from Dad saying he couldn't come down.
Saturday - road trip to Tucson with Brian, Allyson, Teniya and Mike.
Week 2
Lots of nothing! Stayed up late, slept in (thus messing up my sleep schedule), read books.
Thursday I spent with Jen and her brood, first going to Ikea for breakfast and shopping, then to As You Wish, and then to her house for dinner.
Friday night I went to the Rock and Worship Roadshow in downtown Phoenix, which was a blast. Today I've been just messing around, running a few errands and getting a few things done. I've really needed the downtime, and to not think about work. When we get back, state testing! :P
Somehow I thought I'd have much more to say here. I guess I was wrong.
