Love/Hate

Love/like
1. The fact that my car is clean at the moment. Yay for $4 car washes!
2. We were unexpectedly told we had to leave work by 4pm so they oculd lock up the building. So, instead of sitting and working for another 2 hours, I went to Target, got my car washed, and got Wendy's for dinner.
3. Alyssa came by after training at the district office. We were laughing so hard at something I said (which she then had to leave on the voicemail of 2 coworkers) that my stomach muscles still ache a little.
4. Staff development days - still a work day but no kids.
5. Driving around with the windows down and the radio loud.

Hate/dislike
1. Teachers pretty much get punished for all that's wrong with education these days. Not punished as in "you're in trouble" but in getting a million new, impossible requirements and responsibilities dumped on us in an effort to bring up student achievement. Really, it's not working, y'all.
2. My neighbors and all the people who go in and out don't know how to knock normally. People bang on the door repeatedly and sometimes holler until they're let inside. Really, you know they are home, give them more than 0.5 seconds to get to the door! Or, leave the freaking door unlocked.
3. My skin - it seems to have more breakouts than a month ago.
4. I can't get my key to go all the way in my front door without using the plastic part of my car key to push it in. This usually happens when it's humid out.
5. Being so busy this school year. Hopefully it gets better.
