Drawing the line

Today was an early release day, but we had to do some training stuff. Thankfully it didn't last long and I could have gone home at 2:45. I grabbed all my stuff (papers to grade and manuals to look over) and went to talk to the other 4th grade teachers. Their rooms are conected by inside doors, and mine is across a hall. It would be nice to be connected, but at least I can go over and talk to them whenever I need to. So, we talked lesson plans, schedules, etc, and who needed copies of materials. I left around 345, and found a note on my car apologizing for a dent and call for insurance info. I had to go look at a dent in the back that I had not even noticed, probably because it wasn't something I would be looking out for anyway. It was another teacher who did it, and I left a message telling him I'd get his info tomorrow and to not stress over the matter. I'm not upset at all, things happen.

I had to force myself to sit and grade math tests and reading tests. Then I reworked my schedule for tomorrow and made sure I knew what I'd be teaching when. The details will be worked out in the morning, because I was just too tired to do anymore. I left my stuff in the car because bringing it up to my apartment would just stress me out. The workday has to end sometime, even if not everything is finished.

Last 2 nights I have not slept well. I wonder if having coffee in the mid afternoon is a reason for waking up multiple times. We'll see if it happens again tonight, as I needed a little caffeine while I was grading. I did wake up to a nice storm in the middle of the night, with bright flashes of lightning and some rain.

So tired...going to watch tv for a while even though I should just sleep.
