Here Fishy Fishy


1. Have you ever gone fishing?
Shoot, not since I was in elementary school. I remember a pelican got stuck in my dad's fishing line, not the hook but just the string, and we had to get him untangled.

2. Do you have an aquarium?
No, but I have 3 bettas in separate containers.

3. Do you eat fish?
Tuna from a can.

4. Have you ever seen Finding Nemo?
Yup, but only once. It's a great movie for quoting, however. I love the sea gulls :)

5. What do you think of Sushi?
I think it's very pretty and I'll only touch it with my eyes. I'm one of those people who goes to a sushi restaurant and orders chicken.

I am ever so slowly getting closer to this, my dream room. Blue wall, some black and white pictures, white sheets, check. My carpet won't be replaced by hardwood floors, but that's ok. I want my bed! The delivery company should call me any day now, and they better call soon as I only have one more week of summer break. I still need a new bedspread, but matching the blue paint is proving quite tricky.

I need to make a budget. Yes, I say this often, but I really need to do it. I should also start a savings account, like the "Keep the Change" ones BofA has. It's so easy to spend small amounts all over but then when I want to make a big purchase, I can't bring myself to do it.

Dinner tonight with some girls from the community group. I hope I'm not the only person to show up. I really want to meet more people from Kairos and get more involved.

Belated anniversary

Two years and 3 days since I moved to Arizona. Than goodness for LJ archives, because I can never remember the exact date.
