(no subject)

Well, I got what I wanted today, which was not having to work at Sylvan. I got to take a nap, which as always lasts longer than I plan. Now, I have to do laundry, clean, and pack as I have little time tomorrow and I leave Friday after work. I've gotten nothing done.

Oy, tomorrow I have my own table at Sylvan, my first time with 3 students. Right now I get frazzled enough as it is with 2 students, and I don't have much time to get there early and prepare. But, I'll do the best that I can. Hopefully I'll have the younger kids, and not 3 high school boys. The boys are entertaining, but I feel sort of silly giving reward tokens to 15 year olds.

I'm still pondering whether or not to put a picture as my lj background. It would only affirm my uberdorkness. Yet, I cannot deny what I am. Still haven't made my tumbler, no time. No time, silly hobbitsessss!

A few early gifts

I'm easy to buy for, it seems. My friends know they can get me anything green or anything to do with Lord of the Rings. So, I have now 4 pairs of green socks, green gloves, a green scarf, Merry and Eomer action figures, the mini set with Sam Frodo, and the ringwraith, and the movie Elf. Ok, so Elf doesn't exactly fir the theme, but he does wear green, and I did laugh a lot at the movie.
