Oct. 4th, 2004 06:34 pm"Man, what a geek!" is the only way I can describe myself right now. I want to go write a review on Amazon for Sean Astin's autobiography. I read it in 3 days, and it only took that long because life got in the way of my reading time.
Sean is cool. Reading his book, I was reminded a lot of myself. Likes to talk a lot, includes a lot of details and jumping around in his stories, super-analyzes himself, sometimes acts like a doof but realizes this eventually. Has the utmost respect for Peter Jackson. Loves his family. Got a tattoo! Isn't afraid to cry...a lot. Loves LOTR as literature, not just because he played Sam.
I always stop to see what movie is playing at Suncoast when I pass it at the mall. Today ROTK had just started, and (fortunately) just passed the Deagol murder and caught the metamorphosis of Smeagol/Gollum. I don't care if I look silly, I stood and watched for a good 5 minutes :)
