The shower equivalent theory sounds good to me. Maybe it was both lol. Poor Mr. Darcy, being so analyzed!
Nothing to do with what we are talking about but I think you should read Jane Eyre (if you haven't already, that is) when you get the chance. Or even watch the movie (the 2006 version with Toby Stevens and Ruth Wilson). It's so good! The book was really inspiring to me spiritually. Jane is so firmly rooted in God and there are Bible references in, I'd say, every chapter. Plus Jane is a governess and a teacher in the later chapters and often my thoughts strayed to you and your struggles. Mind you it was only a handful of paragraphs, but still it was something. I can't say enough good things about it ♥
