I'm suddenly popular

Ok, so this weekend, Winter is crashing at my place while competing in a Scrabble tournament.   I knew about this for a couple of months.  Then, my sister calls yesterday, saying she and my mom are driving down to my aunt's house near Phoenix at that very moment.  My mom hasn't been here to see me yet, so of course she wants to come by and I want her to see my place.  I was supposed to have dinner with Winter tonight, and then my mom and sister say they can only come this evening, since they are driving back to CA early tomorrow morning.  Geesh, how random is this weekend?  It works out that I'll have dinner with my mom and sister.

Found his website several years ago when I started working at Starbucks. I thought what he was doing was really cool and I emailed him asking when he had been to my store (it was brand new and he had a pic already). He emailed back, saying if he ever was in the area he'd try and say hi. Once he did come by but I wasn't there, and then really randomly in summer 04, he showed up at my store. A month later he was in town again and we hung out one night. After that we just kind of emailed every so often and kept in touch.

We actually hung out for less than 2 hours. The rest of the time he was out playing Scrabble, I was with my mom, or we were asleep.
