Good: I'm really getting the car! Yay! I want it now! Argh, my sister is going to drive it until I can go pick it up, which will be about a month.

BAD: There was another roach! It was double the size of the one last night. I'm going to ask maintenence tomorrow if any of my neighbors are having this problem, and what I should do. I've also been reading information, and I'm not sure what's attracting the roaches. I don't have food out, I'm pretty clean, nothing has changed about my apartment.

Do you have any Raid? That's worked for me in the past. I know it's gross. Usually I spray the stuff and then leave for a little while to let it settle.

I've only ever seen 3 roaches in here since October. The first was about a month after I moved in, and it was in the dishwasher. The other 2 were yesterday and today. Someone told me the heat brings them in, and I'm thinking that might be it because nothing has changed, cleanliness-wise, in my apartment. I did just check my cabinets and got rid of some paper bags as a preventative measure. If I could find my roll of packing tape I'd seal the gap under the door. I'm going to ask the office tomorrow if they have any recommendations.

Raid, roach traps and bait...then call maintenence and have them spray your area with pesticide (unless roaches are different from ants, in that it doesn't affect roaches). If it is an infestation, then it's not your responsibility to deal with it - the apt people have to! Know your tenant rights...look up "insert state tenant rights" and find out what your state says about your rights.

Roaches don't discriminate. They are equal opportunity opportunists. Like lice in a sense. Having them doesn't mean that you are dirty or bad. I know that doesn't help--they are still gross.
It is that time of year for Roach-capades.

Now I understand--like me--you live in Arizona!! The Roaches--they love it here!
