Apartment hunting blues

Went looking for apartments yesterday and today. Not very much fun, let me tell you. If it's not scary looking, it's probably out of my price range. Since I will be living alone, I'm opting for the semi-nice, safe looking complexes. One place was nice, the only drawback being people can look right into my living room and bedroom sliding glass doors. Another place I'll try to look at the model on Tuesday. Maybe I can get a 2nd floor apartment there, or hopefully a little more privacy.

Sliding glass doors are big no-no.
Not to freak you out or anything but my grans place got robbed years ago when they had sliding doors.

Better to be safe than sorry anyways.

The doors open into the courtyard/walkway, so anyone breaking in would be quite obvious. Still, now that I think about it, I don't want people walking past my window while I sleep.
