It was SO GOOD. Definitely on my list of top five episodes.

Wow, I can't believe anyone actually liked last night episode (I mean absolutely no offense by this comment). My parents and I were thinking how ridiculous this show has gotten and that we don't even like watching it anymore. We only watch it hoping they turn it around some way.

And I was furious at that stupid priest for saying Riccardo's sin couldn't be forgiven. I hate that people who don't believe in God will see that. I'm sure it's probably not going to affect them anyway, but still.

I liked the episode, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations.

And I was watching with my husband and friends of ours = two pastors. I was worried the TV might not survive the scene with the priest!

I have no idea why I liked it so much, but I did. Probably feeling sorry for Richard getting more and more crap dumped on him. See my other comment for more thoughts on the priest scene.

lol

Yeah, I have always liked Richard and I liked seeing his back story. That part at least was mostly good. But I can't stand that it broke him. Maybe Hurley and the talk with his wife will help him.

I liked it, I think I just had too high of expectations for the Richard episode...I expected a few more answers. But it was fabulous to see his back story.

It has gotten slightly ridiculous, but I suspended reality for the show long ago. The EW magazine article that came out beginning of S5 said something to the effect that it's scifi, and anything can go. It had been heading that direction IMO anyway.

When the priest said Richard couldn't be forgiven, I thought to myself I'm glad I'm not Catholic and know that isn't true. Then I was commenting on someone's LJ who, like you, was worried about how non-believers might take that, and the whole Jacob/Man in Black/good and evil thing. So, yes, I see that as worrisome as well.

I admit scifi isn't my thing usually. I can take weird alternate world things as long as I like it. Obviously. :P

Like with the smoke monster. I don't even care anymore. Before it was like "ooOo what is it? Who is it going to get?" but now I know it's just that stupid guy lol.
I hate to sound like one of those people who watch the show only to see if it was a dinosaur or something. I'm really not.

I'm glad I'm not Catholic and know that isn't true.
EXACTLY how I felt. It's so ridiculous.
I don't want to offend anyone, but seriously. "No, you don't have time?" Pfft.
